Position Summary
Our Complex Litigation team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to support high-impact class action matters. This is a junior attorney role within a collaborative and fast-paced practice, handling large-scale litigation on behalf of groups of plaintiffs. The position blends legal research, litigation, and client management, offering meaningful, hands-on experience from the outset. This is a full-time Associate Attorney position within the Firm’s Class Action practice group. Attorneys in this group represent individuals in large-scale class action lawsuits against sophisticated and well resourced entities, with a strong history of securing significant settlements and verdicts. The team handles a wide range of complex cases, including matters involving consumer protection, and privacy statutes. The Associate Attorney will manage a complex caseload of federal and state matters in these areas while working closely with senior attorneys to develop strategy and drive case outcomes across all stages of litigation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3- 5 years of litigation experience
  • Active California Bar license (preferred)
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Interest in complex litigation and consumer class action cases

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of state and federal class action matters, including cases involving consumer protection, unfair business practices, and related statutory claims
  • Handle all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and substantive briefs such as class certification and summary judgment
  • Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality written work product, including correspondence and discovery-related materials
  • Manage and oversee written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
  • Conduct depositions, participate in oral arguments, and assist in expert witness interviews and case development
  • Coordinate and manage e-discovery processes, including document review, organization, and production

Salary

  • $160,000-Based on Experience
