The appointment of CaseyGerry partner and head of the Mass Torts practice Frederick Schenk, to the plaintiff’s steering committee in the Social Media Judicial Council Coordination Proceedings (JCCP), has garnered media coverage due to the importance on the case.
The JCCP lawsuit is brought against some of the world’s biggest social media platforms for encouraging social media addiction in young users despite knowing the negative impact it would have on their youngest market.
The lawsuit was recently covered by the Daily Transcript, Daily Journal, Attorney at Law Magazine, San Diego City Biz, University of San Diego School of Law Blog, the San Diego Metro Magazine, and the Del Mar Times.
