Health Center Partners of Southern California Data Breach

Health Center Partners of Southern California (HCP) reported a data breach that exposed sensitive data.

According to the notice of breach filed with the Attorney General’s office, Health Center Partners of Southern California (HCP) reported that NetGain Technology, LLC, the company’s service provider, experienced a cyberattack when their system was infiltrated by an unauthorized third party who had gained access to the data of several NetGain clients including Health Center Partners of Southern California (HCP).

It is unknown at this time how many people have been affected. However, according to the State of California Department of Justice website, a business must report a security breach to the Attorney General if it has compromised the information of more than 500 California residents.
