CaseyGerry partner Robert J. Francavilla and associate Adam B. Levine recently resolved a case involving a young woman who sustained serious injuries in a Northern California bus crash. The plaintiff was riding as a passenger on a chartered bus that veered off the side of the highway and rolled over into a ravine. The bus driver was found to be driving under the influence of methamphetamines and was charged criminally in connection with the incident. As a result of the crash, the plaintiff suffered facial injuries including a fractured jaw that required her to have surgery and to have her jaw wired shut during her recovery.
Francavilla and Levine settled the case for $1,230,000.
