Partner Srinivas Hanumadass and attorney David Casey III, along with the investigative and paralegal team, recently brought an Underinsured Motorist (UIM) case to a successful conclusion.
The plaintiff, a retired officer, was rear-ended in stop-and-go traffic. As a result of the incident, the plaintiff developed a Chronic Pain condition known as Trigeminal neuralgia in which even mild stimulation like brushing teeth could trigger a jolt of excruciating pain. Although the plaintiff had several pre-existing conditions, the team and experts were able to show that his chronic pain was caused by the incident.
As a result, the team was able to obtain the policy limits from both the third party and first party carrier.
