Today, we are proud to announce that two of our partners, both with strong histories of community leadership, have been elected to lead and participate in two organizations of high prestige.

The NTL Top 100 membership is by invitation only to top trial lawyers who meet the qualifications and must go through a rigorous selection process to receive an invitation to join.
A member since its founding, David continues to set the bar high for excellence. Serving as an inspiration and mentor for all at the firm.
David was a prosecutor for the San Diego City Attorney’s Office before joining his late father, David S. Casey, Sr., at the firm in 1976. Over an illustrious 49-year career, David has secured multiple high-profile verdicts and settlements and is known not only for his legal prowess but for his commitment to civility and integrity in the field of law.
Frederick Schenk – President of the Board of Directors for
the 22nd District Agricultural Association
Partner and Head of Mass Torts Frederick Schenk was elected President of the Board of Directors for the 22nd District Agricultural Association (DAA), the organization responsible for leading this year’s San Diego County Fair and overseeing all operations at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
Frederick’s involvement with the 22nd DAA spans over 20 years. He was first appointed to the Board in 2002 by Governor Gray Davis and was reappointed in 2010 and 2014. In addition, Frederick served as Board President from 2013 to 2016, a role he was re-elected to in December of 2023. His involvement with the 22nd DAA has been integral to its success.
Frederick heads the firm’s Mass Torts practice, bringing his knowledge and experience to handling some of the firm’s most complex multi-district cases. Already established as an industry leader in asbestos litigation, Frederick continues to approach consumer well-being with the same compassion and dedication that led to his securing the largest verdict in San Diego against an asbestos manufacturer. In addition, he is an active participant in San Diego legal and local organizations and continues to bring his leadership skills to the forefront.
