A key member of member of CaseyGerry’s complex litigation team, Jason focuses on consumer class actions, product liability and serious personal injury litigation.
During his three-year tenure with CaseyGerry, he has prosecuted many multi-million dollar cases including complex, high-stakes personal injury and products liability litigation involving serious and catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and traumatic brain injury. His broad experience involves both State and Federal Court throughout California and nationwide.
Additionally, he has handled complex class action litigation representing consumers against various corporate and financial institutions.
Among the high profile cases he has recently played a key role in: obtaining major awards for victims of the tragic Reno Air Show catastrophe and a complex class action lawsuit against the City of Chula Vista, in which he helped achieve an $8 million settlement enabling Chula Vista residents to claim refunds of Telephone User’s Tax (TUT). Additionally, he currently represents farmers in the San Joaquin Valley, helping them recover from the effects of pollution, as well as multiple passengers in ongoing multi-district litigation arising from the disastrous airplane crash at San Francisco International Airport in July 2013.
Active both professionally and within the community, Jason is 2015 Vice Chair of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Forum for Emerging Lawyers, representing thousands of young lawyers in San Diego. His hard work and dedication is also reflected in his educational pursuits. While earning his J.D. at Washington University in St. Louis, where he was a three time Scholar in Law Award recipient, he was given the Award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and public affairs from Claremont McKenna College, earning the philosophy department’s Best Senior Thesis accolade.
