CASEY GERRY ADMINISTRATOR NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF ALA

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Liz Mackres, Casey Gerry’s longtime office administrator, has been elected vice president of the board of directors of the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) for the 2009-2010 term.

Mackres has been an active member of the ALA for seven years, and was most recently secretary of the board of directors.

She has been with Casey Gerry for twenty years, overseeing firm operations, and directing human resources, insurance and cash management at the 37-employee firm, which specializes in plaintiff’s law.

“Liz has dedicated herself to running our office more efficiently and effectively, and we are proud that she contributes her considerable expertise to ALA,” said David S. Casey Jr., Casey Gerry’s senior partner. “ We are confident that she will continue to play a key role in the ongoing operations of this important legal organization.“

Prior to joining Casey Gerry, she was a systems manager for the San Diego Credit Association. She is a resident of the El Cajon neighborhood of San Diego County.

Headquartered in Lincolnshire, Ill., the Association of Legal Administrators is a national organization whose mission is to improve the quality of management in legal services organizations; promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the management team; and represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and to the community at large.
