CaseyGerry files Class Action Lawsuit Against Honda for Sticky Steering Issues

CaseyGerry has filed a lawsuit against Honda on behalf of consumers who experienced issues with the steering wheel becoming stuck, often at highway speeds.

The suit was filed on April 4, 2023.

In March 2023, CaseyGerry began to investigate consumer complaints regarding the car manufacturer’s “sticky” steering, a malfunction with the steering system, which makes it difficult and potentially dangerous to steer, and control the vehicle once it exceeds a certain speed limit. Owners of Honda Civic vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2023 have reported experiencing this same issue.

The suit alleges that Honda failed to inform buyers and lessees of issues with the electronic power steering system which requires increased exertion due to the wheel tightening.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) received over 140 complaints about the same issue within eleven months. Read our previous post on this case here.

CaseyGerry is representing those who have purchased or leased a Honda Civic (2022-2023) and have experienced the issues with “Sticky” Steering. If you or a loved one have experienced the same issue, please contact our Class Action attorneys at (619) 238-1811. You may be eligible to join this class action lawsuit.
