She then moved to San Diego to attend University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as an Academic Success Fellow and graduated cum laude. Prior to joining CaseyGerry, she worked as a law clerk for various San Diego-area attorneys and interned at the USD Veterans Legal Clinic as well as the mediation program for small claims at San Diego Superior Court. She also worked for San Diego Superior Court Judge Prager as a legal extern.

During her time at St. Mary’s College, she was a founding member of the First Responders Network, an on-campus crisis line and advocate network. Trained to respond to a variety of crises, she worked with local community groups, law enforcement, and health care providers for outreach, education, and events.
