2025 Mental Health Service Scholarship
Mental health is a critical part of overall well-being, yet it remains one of the most overlooked aspects of healthcare. Many students have experienced firsthand the impact of mental health challenges, whether through personal struggles, advocacy work, or academic research. CaseyGerry, a law firm committed to justice and community support, is offering the Mental Health Service Scholarship to recognize and support students who are dedicated to improving mental health awareness, education, and services. With increasing conversations around mental health, there is a growing need for individuals who are not only passionate about advocacy but also take actionable steps to make a difference. This scholarship is designed to support your efforts to create a more understanding and supportive society.

Eligibility
- Must be a legal U.S. resident residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia.
- Must be enrolled in a vocational program, college, or university (2-year or 4-year institution).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 and in good academic standing.
- Employees of CaseyGerry, their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, spouse), and household members are not eligible to apply.

- The candidate must submit a 750-1,000 word essay response to the prompt: Mental health advocacy is crucial in creating a more supportive and understanding society. How has your personal experience, academic journey, or community involvement shaped your passion for improving mental health awareness, education, or services? Discuss the challenges you have encountered in this space, the opportunities you have embraced, and how you plan to contribute to a more inclusive and accessible mental health landscape. Your response should be 750-1,000 words, incorporating personal experiences, future goals, and reflections on the importance of mental health advocacy.

- The candidate must submit a professional resumé that lists their professional and academic experience.
- The candidate must submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school and the most recent official transcript from their prior school. High school students can submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.
- Preference will be given to students from or attending the state’s secondary school.
The recipient of the 2025 Mental Health Service Scholarship will be chosen during the month following the scholarship deadline.
