Zachary Wallace is an associate civil trial attorney at CaseyGerry Francavilla Blatt LLP. Before joining, Zachary spent 12 years working as a Deputy District Attorney in the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office where he tried over 50 cases to jury trial. During his tenure, Zachary quickly rose the ranks to become one of the top prosecutors in the Sex Crimes & Human Trafficking Unit, regularly handling some of the most complex and serious cases in the unit. In 2021, Zachary was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award by the San Diego County Deputy District Attorney Association. Zachary has deep passion for zealously advocating on behalf of victims and obtaining justice for those who have been wronged.
Zachary was also a member of the San Diego County Deputy District Attorney’s Legislative Committee, where he assisted members of the California State Legislature in drafting legislation, as well wrote letters and testified in support or opposition of proposed legislation. In 2024, his writings on how to use Evidence Code section 1108 to prosecute sexual assault cases were published in the California District Attorneys Association manual on Prosecution of Sexual Assault cases, a manual used by prosecutors throughout the state of California.
In his free time, Zachary enjoys all forms of physical activity, including running, hiking, golfing, and walking on the beach with his 6-pound Shih-Tzu Cleopatra.
Zachary earned his JD from University of California Hastings College of the Law in 2013 and his BA in Political Science from University of California San Diego in 2010.
