On Saturday, July 6, 2013, a Boeing 777 airplane operated by Asiana Airlines crashed on final approach into San Francisco International Airport (SFO). According to the National Transportation Safety Board, Asiana Airlines pilots flew below the SFO visual glide path and made impact with the seawall short of the runway. A portion of the tail as well as both engines and the landing gear were stripped from the massive plane as it spun and caught fire.
Many passengers were injured and three were killed. Some of the best aviation law firms across the nation represented the many victims of this disaster, with CaseyGerry representing innocent San Diego residents who endured the traumatic crash and suffered injuries. The firm negotiated a confidential settlement on their behalf.
