Two CaseyGerry Attorneys Featured in The Daily Transcript’s Top 40 Under 40

SAN DIEGO (September 10, 2020) Two CaseyGerry attorneys – Jason C. Evans and Meagan L. Verschueren – ­were recently named among San Diego’s “Top 40 Under 40 Professionals” by The Daily Transcript, a leading local business publication.

Published annually, this year’s list was released in a special Sept. 9 supplement and profiles the city’s rising young stars in real estate, law, finance, construction, government, non-profit work and small business.

According to the Transcript, all honorees have made an impact on their company, industry and community.

Recently elevated from associate attorney to partner, Evans is a key member of the CaseyGerry team, focusing on serious personal injury, product liability and aviation litigation. A recipient of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego’s Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award, he consistently achieves optimum results for plaintiffs in highly contested and often newsworthy multi-million-dollar cases.

He is active both professionally and in the community, and serves on the board of directors of San Diego Youth Tennis, as co-chair of the Claremont McKenna College Alumni Association and as a volunteer musician at La Jolla Presbyterian Church. He has also served on the board of directors of the San Diego County Bar Association and worked for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer program, drafting requests for restraining orders for victims of domestic and elder abuse.

Associate attorney Meagan L. Verschueren litigates catastrophic personal injury cases, fighting for those who need it most. She is also senior co-president of the Tom Homann LGBT Law Association (THLA) which is dedicated to the advancement of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues throughout California and beyond. In her spare time, she volunteers as a mock judge for the San Diego County High School Annual Mock Trial Competition and for events promoting Voices for Children and STAR/PAL.
