SEIU 775 Benefits Group Data Breach

The CaseyGerry law firm is investigating a data breach on SEIU 775 Benefits Group that may have affected at least 140,000 individuals. In an article by Data Breaches.Net, the Washington-based company discovered that an unauthorized party had gained access to their systems. The incident was detected on April 4, 2021. The company provides training and benefits such as medical, vision, hearing, dental plans and more to home care workers in Washington state

The notification letter sent out to those impacted stated that identifying and possibly, health information may have been exposed including, name, Social Security number, address, and health plan and enrollment information.
