PrismHR Outage Likely Due to Ransomware Attack

 PrismHR, a Massachusetts-based online payroll and HR platform for Professional employer organizations, has experienced an outage likely due to a series of ongoing ransomware attacks on its network. The company provides technology for a range of administrative services from payroll to tax forms. Operations were halted potentially affecting any number of its 80,000 clients, with two million employees.

The company detected unusual activity on Sunday, February 28^th , and disabled access to the system. Although the company has yet to declare Ransomware, they are fast to state there is no sign of unauthorized access.
