Project Description

Case Summary:

Representation of a 12-year-old boy playing on a crowded Carlsbad beach when a Piper PA-18 struck him as it crash-landed in the shallow surf. The pilot’s careless fuel management during banner towing operations along the coast caused the engine failure necessitating the emergency landing.
