Her work with CaseyGerry is extensive, including catastrophic personal injury cases that involve severe burns, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and permanent disabilities. She regularly handles matters in the areas personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, premises liability, and elder abuse.
Meagan grew up in North Muskegon, Michigan and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida. She relocated to San Diego and graduated from California Western School of Law, cum laude.
During law school, she actively participated in moot court competitions, was a trial team competitor, and was awarded the Distinguished Advocate Award.
Meagan currently serves as the Co-president of Tom Homann LGBT Law Association (THLA) and has been heavily involved in mentoring LGBT law students. Meagan also works closely with the Lawyers Club’s LGBT Committee and is an active member of SDCBA, CWL, CAOC, CASD, AAJ, and the National LGBT Bar Association.
In her spare time, she volunteers as a mock judge for the San Diego County High School Annual Mock Trial Competition and for events promoting Voices for Children and STAR/PAL. She enjoys traveling, painting, attending festivals, and watching theater and films.
