Orange County Oil Spill

CaseyGerry is investigating the massive oil spill off the coast of Orange County which has contaminated the water and coastline, resulting in the closure of surrounding beaches and a potential environmental catastrophe. Currents are spreading the contamination beyond the initial site of the leak, which is tied to an offshore platform that pumps heavy crude to Long Beach. According to the US Coast Guard, the oil is moving in a “southerly direction” and has reached Laguna. It will likely continue to “move in a southerly direction based on the wind and the weather and the currents.”
