Linksys WiFi Router Lawsuit – Dual-Band AC1000

CaseyGerry is investigating complaints by consumers who purchased the Linksys Dual Band AC1000 Wifi Router.

Popular technology manufacturer, Linksys released a router advertised as “Reliable, affordable Wifi” that allows users to “surf, stream, game and chat without losing connection.”

The company advertised the Linksys Dual Band AC1000 WiFi Router with capabilities of running up to 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps) and as more than twice as fast as older routers.

However, consumers found that the Linksys AC1000 router was slower than older models by 900%. In a review on Amazon.com, the user stated, “Extremely slow. Seven-year-old router works many times better.” A review on Walmart.com recommended not buying the product due to the speed.
