CaseyGerry is investigating an alleged defect in the infotainment systems of several Honda vehicles, particularly Honda Civic models manufactured between 2016-2020.
The investigation pertains to an alleged defect in the vehicles’ infotainment system that can affect the vehicle functions including the rear-view parking camera, heating, cooling, audio, blue tooth and more.
According to NHTSA reports, buyers and leasers of Honda Civic models manufactured between 2016 and 2020, reported freezing and crashing, which affects the other functionalities in the vehicle.
According to CarComplaints.Com, Honda recently settled a similar class action lawsuit brought against the company for failure to address defective infotainment system in several models, including: the Honda Odyssey, Honda Pilot and the Honda Passport.
Due to the multi-functioning nature of the infotainment system, this type of alleged defect could be extremely dangerous.
