DID YOU APPLY FOR OR OBTAIN A LOAN FROM AMERIFIRST BEFORE DECEMBER 10, 2020?

IF SO, AND YOU RECEIVED A NOTICE OF DATA BREACH, CONTACT CASEYGERRY AT 619.238.1811.

Casey Gerry filed a lawsuit in April 2021 on behalf of individuals who received a notice from AmeriFirst that their personal information was obtained in the breach.

AmeriFirst Financial Inc., a mortgage lender based out of Mesa, Arizona, reported a data breach that compromised customers’ highly private and financial data.

The company, which generates almost $79 million in revenue annually, determined, on April 12, 2021, that their network system was compromised sometime between December 2 and December 10, 2020, exposing customers’ loan information.

According to the notice that AmeriFirst Financial submitted to the California Attorney General’s office, exposed data included identifying information such as, names, social security numbers, drivers license, passport numbers, and other types of identifying information. Financial data was also exposed such as bank account information.

AmeriFirst Inc. only recently sent customers notification of the breach stating that delay was due to a third-party investigation into the cause of the breach.

The law firm of CaseyGerry is investigating the AmeriFirst Data Breach and speaking with individuals who received this notice about their legal rights.
