Dickey’s BBQ Lists California Locations Affected by Breach

Popular BBQ chain, Dickey’s BBQ reported a data breach in October of 2020, that compromised the financial information of millions of patrons nationwide.  The breach occurred between 2019 and late 2020, affecting over 150 locations across the country. CaseyGerry has been tracking the impact of the breach since October 2020.

In January 2021, Dickey’s BBQ released more information on the breach, reporting that 55 locations in California had been affected including Los Angeles and surrounding areas, Long Beach, San Diego, Napa and more. The data compromised includes, cardholder’s name, account number, expiration date, and internal verification value.
