Data Breach – Woodcreek Pediatrics

Woodcreek Pediatrics – Mary Bridge Children’s, a Washington state based pediatric healthcare provider, has reported a data breach in association with their IT vendor, Netgain Technology LLC. According to the Woodcreek Pediatrics website, highly sensitive data of applicants, contractors, employees, patients, parents and guardians of patients, and providers was stolen.

The notice reported that although medical records were not compromised, scanned information such as clinical and financial data, and other business records were accessed. The information stolen include data from January 2005 to November 2020.

Compromised data includes identifying and health-related information such as:

• Names
• Dates of birth
• Social security numbers
• Student ID numbers
• Health insurance and medical record numbers
• Clinical information including vaccination records

Financial information such as:

• Bank account numbers
• Court documents related to garnishments.
• Payroll information and tax forms
• Benefit enrollment forms

Other information accessed includes, resumes, transcripts, Drug enforcement agency certificates and more.
