Longtime Firm Partner Lauded in Annual Tribute to Female Leaders

SAN DIEGO (March 2018) – CaseyGerry partner Gayle M. Blatt is featured in The Daily Transcript’s Top Influential Women for 2018, a special supplement which honors the “best and brightest” women leaders in San Diego.

According to Transcript, a longstanding San Diego business publication, the featured professionals represent a gamut of industries – from legal to financing – but have all made an important impact on their industry and the community.

Blatt, who serves on the plaintiffs’ executive committee overseeing class action litigation related to the data breaches revealed by Yahoo! Inc., heads up CaseyGerry’s complex litigation practice.

Over the years, she has held numerous high profile appointments, and was appointed plaintiffs’ liaison counsel by the United States District Court for the Southern District of California in the multidistrict litigation In re: Sony Gaming Networks and Customer Data Breach Security Litigation.

She was appointed to serve as Liaison Counsel for Hydroxycut personal injury cases in the multidistrict litigation in the Southern District of California, for In re: Sony Gaming Networks and Customer Data Security Breach, and class counsel In re: Apple and AT&T iPad Unlimited Data Plan Litigation previously resolved in the Northern District of California.

Blatt concentrates her practice on class action, pharmaceutical, medical device, data privacy and serious personal injury cases and joined CaseyGerry more than 30 years ago, handling an increasingly wide range of high profile cases.
