Thomas D. Luneau – a partner at San Diego-based CaseyGerry – has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a prestigious organization comprised of the country’s leading judges and plaintiff and defense trial counsel.
Membership to ABOTA – which is committed to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial – is by invitation only.
According to CaseyGerry’s managing partner David S. Casey Jr., Luneau is continuing a longstanding CaseyGerry tradition of ABOTA involvement. “We now have four partners who are members of ABOTA, one of the country’s top trial lawyer associations.”
Earning numerous multi-million verdicts and settlements for his clients, Luneau focuses his practice primarily on serious personal injury, products liability and civil rights. In addition, he has special expertise in law enforcement and military issues, and has successfully represented personnel from agencies that include: the San Diego Police Department, San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the California Highway Patrol and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. He joined CaseyGerry in 1982 as a private investigator, and began working for the firm as an attorney after earning his J.D. from Western State University of Law in 1989.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from San Diego State University, and is affiliated with the Consumer Attorneys of California, Lawyers Club San Diego, the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the American Association for Justice.
