CASEYGERRY ATTORNEY MODERATES ANNUAL ADVOCACY AWARD EVENT

SAN DIEGO (January 24, 2018)  CaseyGerry is proud to sponsor the second annual Levine Advocacy Award ceremony on February 27, 2018, as part of its continuing support for the Harvey Levine Scholarship Fund at University of San Diego (USD) School of Law. This scholarship was established to remember Harvey Levine as a gifted lawyer and a longtime professor at USD.

Each year, one attorney is selected nationwide to receive the Levine Advocacy Award because their accomplishments embody Harvey Levine’s passion for sticking up for the little guy.  Levine’s son, CaseyGerry attorney Adam Levine, will be moderating the event, which will feature this year’s recipient of the Levine Advocacy Award and keynote speaker, Mark P. Robinson, Jr.

Robinson Jr.  has established himself as one of the nation’s leading plaintiff attorneys.  He has built a prominent practice devoted to consumer safety that has been sticking up for the little guy for decades, from the Ford Pinto case that the Association for Trial Lawyers of America recognized as one of the ten most significant civil trials of the millennium, to his $417 million verdict last year against Johnson & Johnson in a case of cancer caused by its talc-powder products.  He also had the opportunity of trying multiple cases with Harvey Levine, including a three-month trial in 1986 against General Motors in San Diego that led to a $9.2 million judgment.

Join CaseyGerry for this exciting event and hear Mark Robinson Jr.  discuss his experience and future trends in this area of law.  The program will provide MCLE credit, and all proceeds will be used to support the Harvey Levine Scholarship, which is awarded annually to a USD law student with demonstrated financial need and a commitment to advocacy.
