CaseyGerry Associate to Serve on Board of SDCBA’s New Lawyer Division

SAN DIEGO (November 8, 2013) – Jason C. Evans, an associate attorney with San Diego-based CaseyGerry, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the New Lawyer Division of the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA).

He will serve a two-year term, focusing on various projects and activities related to the Bar Association’s service to the legal community. The New Lawyer Division, a part of San Diego’s oldest and largest law-related organization, consists of attorneys who have been in the profession for seven years or less, and supports the interests and activities of members through legal outreach, educational programs and community events.

Evans, who joined CaseyGerry in 2012, specializes in complex litigation and personal injury cases. He is active in the American Association for Justice, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the Lawyers Club and is a pro-bono volunteer with the Casa Cornelia Law Center and a volunteer at La Jolla Presbyterian Church.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Claremont McKenna College and his J.D. at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.

He previously worked for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program representing victims of domestic and elder abuse, and served as a legal assistant for Spach, Capaldi and Waggaman, LLP, in Newport Beach.
