CASEY GERRY’S GAYLE BLATT NAMED TO CAOC BOARD OF GOVERNORS

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Gayle M. Blatt — a partner with Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt & Penfield — has been appointed to the board of governors of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), a statewide organization of more than 3,000 attorneys who represent plaintiffs and consumers seeking responsibility from wrongdoers.

The immediate past president of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, Blatt will serve on CAOC’s board of governors for a one-year term.

According to David Casey Jr., Casey Gerry’s senior partner, Blatt will continue to represent the interests of consumers as a board member of this important professional organization. “A dedicated and skilled litigator, she is well equipped to represent our firm — and the interests of consumers — as an active board member of CAOC.”

Blatt, who concentrates her practice on personal injury, pharmaceutical and product liability litigation, has earned numerous multi-million dollar results for her clients, and is especially active in product liability cases.

In addition, she is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), as well as a longtime member of CAOC.

A resident of the University City, she also serves on the board of directors of the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center. Blatt earned her bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University in New York and her JD (cum laude) from California Western School of Law.
