CaseyGerry Gets 7-Figure Settlement for Seriously Injured Pedestrian

CaseyGerry attorneys successfully attained justice for a pedestrian, Glen Ruknaitis, who suffered catastrophic injuries after he was hit by a car.

Glen Ruknaitis, an artist, lived and worked in the La Jolla beach area of Bird Rock for over 30 years. He is well-known in the community and his influence in the local art scene can be seen from popular surf brands to local hotel murals.

One evening in January 2018, Glen packed up his paintings and left his favorite painting rock at Windansea. He was crossing the street at a designated crosswalk when a car going 35 miles/hour hit him. Fortunately, he survived the impact but suffered severe and life-threatening injuries. Although Glen recovered from most of his injuries, he continues to endure the effects of the incident.
