Thomas Tosdal – Trial Attorney
Thomas Tosdal’s experience in power line fire cases started with the three San Diego fires in 2007, which were started by three different types of power line failures, all in high wind conditions. Thomas took a leadership role in establishing liability and proving damages for hundreds of people, farmers, and businesses against SDG&E, and even two telecommunications companies. Thomas was also the lead trial attorney in the first successful jury trial against a utility in the 2013 Las Conchas fire cases in New Mexico.  He, along with other counsel, represented two Native American Tribels and a rancher.  This is the only successful jury trial against a utility for a tree contact case in the country. Thomas currently represents fire victims who lost their homes, businesses and family members in the 2017 North Bay Fire and 2018 Camp Fire caused by PG&E and played a lead role in the PG&E bankruptcy on behalf of fire victims.  The total amount of recoveries by Thomas and his teams of law firms in power line fire cases is well over $500 million.

Angela Jae Chun – Trial Attorney

Angela Jae Chun has a multi-faceted practice exclusively representing plaintiffs in complex cases involving fire, maritime, personal injury, products liability and employment law in both state and federal court.

Through the collective efforts of a team of lawyers led by attorney Tom Tosdal, SDG&E paid more than $500 million to compensate the families and businesses for their losses. Angela spent hundreds of hours working with the victims to ensure they received full and fair compensation for their losses.  Angela currently represents fire victims of the 2017 North Bay and 2018 Camp fires which were caused by PG&E and played a lead role in the PG&E bankruptcy on behalf of fire victims.
