Bansley & Kiener, LLP Data Breach

CaseyGerry is investigating a data breach which has compromised sensitive data of those affiliated with the accounting firm, Bansley and Kiener LLP.

The accounting firm was made aware of a security incident on December 10, 2020. Their investigation revealed that an unauthorized third party gained access to their systems between August 2020 and December 2020.

Bansley and Kiener, LLP is a full-service accounting firm which provides accounting and audit services, tax planning, succession, payroll, state and local election monitoring services and more.

According to the notice of breach filed by the company, the unauthorized party was able to access data such as full names and Social Security numbers.

The incident was discovered in December of 2020, however, the company recently began notifying those potentially impacted.
